FutsalRVA is proud to serve as the official host of the 2027 United States Youth Futsal (USYF) Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships, bringing together competitive youth futsal teams from across the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond for three days of high-level competition in Richmond, Virginia.
As part of the USYF National Championship Series, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships provide an opportunity for teams to compete against strong regional opponents, challenge themselves in a competitive tournament environment, and pursue qualification for the USYF National Championships.
Being selected to host this event reflects FutsalRVA's commitment to creating quality futsal experiences through professional event organization, experienced officials, and facilities designed to support competitive youth futsal.
About the Championship
The USYF Regional Championships are part of a nationwide competition pathway designed to bring together youth futsal teams from different clubs, leagues, and communities.
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships welcome boys' and girls' teams from U9 through U19, offering age-based divisions where participants compete for the title of Regional Champion.
Teams do not need to win a State Championship or participate in a USYF league to register for a Regional Championship.
Throughout the tournament, players experience the technical, tactical, and competitive demands of futsal, while coaches and teams have the opportunity to test themselves against opponents from outside their regular leagues.
The Path to Nationals
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships are an official qualifying event for the 2027 USYF National Championships, scheduled for July 2–5, 2027.
Regional division champions earn an automatic bid to the National Championships, while finalists receive preferred consideration through the qualification process.
For participating teams, the event represents more than a regional competition. It is an opportunity to compete for a championship and take the next step toward the national stage.

Minimum of 3 games per team.
Open to eligible teams, regardless of previous State Championship participation.
