From first touches to high-level academy training, FutsalRVA offers a pathway for every age and level — open to players from any club.
FutsalRVA Academy
Our premier futsal development program gives players the opportunity to train and compete with players from other soccer clubs at the same skill level. The Academy is designed to complement, not compete with, a player's regular club soccer training.
Players train with a qualified coaching staff throughout the year, participating in league play, tournaments, and regional and national competitions. Both current and alumni FutsalRVA players have gone on to MLS academies, ECNL academies, top Division I programs, and professional and international clubs.
ID Nights & Player Identification
ID events give players the chance to be evaluated in a challenging, competitive environment. Because players develop at different rates, FutsalRVA structures its development model around multiple levels within the Academy, so every player can work toward their full potential.
ID events are open to any and all players, regardless of club, level, or town affiliation. Selected players are placed in developmentally appropriate groups and receive training and match opportunities under FutsalRVA's coaching staff.
High School Seasonal Program
Built for players whose schedules get busier as they get older, this program still delivers the full Academy experience while concentrating training and match play into the summer and winter. In the fall and spring, players stay connected through periodic futsal game nights.
A year-round option also remains available for players who want to stay in full-time development, with a designated coach and a structure consistent with prior seasons.
